Why Gaby founded Purplegrass
“The not for profit sector is full of talented, passionate people who want their organisations to succeed and excel. But these same people face the daily challenges of a lack of resources, dwindling funding schemes and a shortage of qualified staff. And this is hard. I have faced these challenges for over 20 years, most recently as Director of Fundraising at Barretstown and Managing Director at Kanchi (founder of the Ability Awards) and that is why I’ve founded Purplegrass. I can provide an effective and cost efficient way for charities and not for profits to access qualified senior management and fundraising expertise to support their work and come up with practical solutions to these challenges. At Purplegrass, we’ve created a range of services that can be tailored to the area of greatest need within your organisation, providing a ‘quality rather than quantity’ input. This makes us affordable, effective and gives the greatest benefit to you, our client. We focus on growth, sustainability and improving your organisation’s performance. Ultimately we want your organisation to thrive, not just survive.”
